          Detzis was established in 1960 by Mary and LeRoy "Reno" Detzi. It is now owned and operated by their triplet sons; John, Joe, and Jeff. As a family owned business for 50 years, we take great pride in our newly renovated bar and restaurant. A Slate Belt landmark located in Wind Gap, PA, the Tavern has a sports theme interior. The walls are adorned with photos and memorabilia of local and area athletes from surrounding high schools and colleges, not to mention famous athletes and celebrities as well. With four TV's in one section and three in our other section, it is safe to say you will never miss your favorite sporting event while dining in our restaurant.

          The modestly priced menu offers a variety of dinner entrees, hot and cold sandwiches, pizza's, salads, and an array of appetizers. We also pride ourselves in a daily "home-made" soups and lunch and dinner specials. Children are never overlooked, the "Kids Corner" of the menu proves to be a hit.

          We are confident this website will answer any questions you may have about us. The casual, warm, and friendly atmosphere is a must when choosing a night out, celebrating a special occasion, or simply gathering to meet up with friends.
